So, I worry alot about my shoulders as they are quite broad :(. When can I expect my shoulders to thin down? and when can I give up my hope that HRT will do something about them? muscle loss surely must take some time?
I look so silly with these shoulders that it makes me depressed =/.
I honestly didn't start feeling comfy wearing a tank top until about 10 months post HRT. Muscle loss came quickly for me but the shoulders and chest took the most time!
*phew* I have had pretty fast results in my legs and arms and therefore I became a bit scared.
After reading your post it feels a bit better. Still got some time :D.

I really love the "cold shoulder" tops and have a couple, but I always end up wearing a shrug over them because I'm not comfortable with how they look. Hopefully I'll see similar results and be able to give up always wearing a shrug.

I wonder this too, my shoulders and back and upper arms are my only "Problem" area that I just hate, they are a tad too big and bulky looking in female clothing items, I have to be VERY selective in my clothing choices, I just started a full-dose HRT regimine about 6 weeks ago however; so I know that it WILL take some time, but I pray I see some nice differences from before HRT and on HRT, I heard it takes a while though for upper body male muscle to melt away to look more feminine, I just hope it DOES at some point!
I think we convince ourselves that our shoulders are "male" and too broad...nonsense. Rock your body. I used to think this, but then I started wearing a few dresses and showed my shoulders, and everything looks just fine.

Indeed. While I did notice many females have small shoulders, there are very many who have huge linebacker shoulders, as well, and little to no hips. Quite comforting, that.
It has made me feel much better about my shoulders after watching the Female track athletes!
Most of those girls are built just like me :)
look for articles online or in magazines about how to choose clothes and fabric patterns that slim such as don't wear horizontal stripes to give a good backview and choose deep vee or scoop necks to give a slim front view.
Hi, when you discuss shoulders
I want to ask about me, when I look to myself I feel like I have broad shoulders and masculine arms

Luckily all my torso is rather small (although I hag big protruding bones on the shoulders). My biggest and most hated issue are my hands. Too square and with short fingers and square nails. And that has no possible solution.
