Ever since I came out at my place of worship, I have been treated and spoken to as a woman. It's even happened in other places that I go. Been hit on a number of times. It's really been amazing. Interacting with the public has helped along with some pointers from my spouse.
:)
That's wonderful to hear. It must be a great feeling!
Thats excellent news.
The reason I don't transitions that I feel I'll never be seen as a woman, much less ever be hit on.
Well of course you are Gennee.
How else would they see you? (https://www.susans.org/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fsmileys.on-my-web.com%2Frepository%2FAnimals%2Fferret-7.gif&hash=9f27f1603b9ef76a5d4bbeedcd1615f680c36e8b)
Watch out for these flirts! (https://www.susans.org/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fsmileys.on-my-web.com%2Frepository%2FAnimals%2Fferret-9.gif&hash=42bd2ee88d4ddc91007b3b25799f543e9ee358f1)
I'm so happy for you!
Even though we had many close friends that were in our church, when I came out, all 1200 of the members turned their backs on us, and we only stayed a few months, trying to see if it would change. We're in a new church family now (Episcopal) as a lesbian couple, and are loved by almost everyone. As one member said, "their loss, our gain!"
So......sometimes, bad situations turn into better ones. Except for the ts stealth thingie, we know where we stand from the get go.

Miss Bev, that's wonderful that you and your partner have found a place where you're welcome. Congratulations.
