Title: Compliments
Post by: gennee on August 22, 2012, 12:18:14 PM
I have been out and about in my neighborhood. I get some compliments about my attire, all positive. I wear sandals during these months and I have received some positive compliments about my feet. A man told me just last night that I have beautiful feet. I always seem to get compliments about me that I don't expect.

One of these days a stranger may give you flowers!

That was a rather nice and unusual complement. Most people don't pay much attention to feet unless the nails are polished and even then people usually don't comment on because most people have awful looking feet. They take a lot of abuse and get very little attention for all the hard work they do. Then there are the corns and bunions that come from wearing high heels and squishing those tootsies into a shoe size too small to try and look more petite, feminine and sexy. So you must have nice looking feet to get such a thoughtful complement Gennee, kudos to you girl!

I had a lot of people compliment me on a dress I had on the other day. Sadly, my strong sense of paranoia set in and I convinced myself that the people who had complimented me did so because they felt sorry for me. I'd feel sorry for me too.

I know that feeling - people keep telling me "you look good" and something in me assumes they feel obliged to say it. I still like being told, though :).

It does feel good, doesn't it Genee? Good for you!

It does make you feel good. You sort of don't realise how good it is. I was in the pharmacy recently getting my hormone script filled, and on of the girls just touched me on the shoulder and said 'you are looking really good sweetie'. These people have known me since my first nervous handing in a script for oestrogen, they have watched me change.

Lovely,

Gennee, you are lovely and deserve every compliment. You are gorgeous outside and inside and that makes you very special.

Hugs Sis

It does feel good.  I saw my GP this morning and he told me I look better than ever.
Love the summer frock Gennee.
