Title: Not sure where I fit...
Post by: Theo on April 19, 2007, 03:04:04 AM
Hi! I am wondering if this forum could include people who are male in a female body but do not want to take hormones or operate but intend to remain in this body and live their life as a male. I thought that perhaps, androgyne forum would be good, but I wanted to see if I could talk here first. I define myself as "transsexual" because I do see myself and am a male, but yet I am also a third gender. It is like I am a man but with this body, and I love it. I just don't want to be called both always, because I am only sometimes both and most of the time male or neither before the division...
Wow, this sure gets to be a lot!  :o

Welcome, Theo!

Where ever you fall on the gender scale is OK with me.  The only label I respond to is, "human."

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I find it interesting that I am a guy who is fighting to defend feminity, and meet with great opposition on the part of many transmen. Transwomen are much nicer and they appreciate this gift. Looks liek guys nowadays want the trappings of feminine but don't want all the work that goes with it, neither do they want to pay their respects to it, well I think its wacked. And I have proven to be more of a man so far, in my life, than any of these tought T-breathing and muscle rolling people, so, they can kiss my ...I feel I could talk here and share with you, and this is great. Trying to find a place in highly compartmentalized NYC is like trying to fit through a nieedle hole as a camel. Highly difficult, but mathematically not impossible. So, I will try and in the process enjoy the journey.
Thanks again and  I would live to discuss transition.

Yes, this bafflement rings a few bells -- enough for me to de-lurk. ;)

I know that I'm female inside. On the other hand, it's equally clear that I'm male outside. Denying the former didn't quite work in the end, even though it took quite a while to realise this. After admitting it there was a great temptation to go the other way, but I'm not sure that's the right answer either. From where I am right now, hurrying towards transition would be switching from one state of denial to another. Mind you, I'm not sure what kind of an equilibrium it's possible to find between those two genders, it's just that I'd be lying to myself again if I didn't consider the possibility.

I'm sure the next few years will be interesting in the sense of the well-known Chinese curse. Still, who wants to be bored to death?
