Howdy, all!
I'm Trisha, a pre-everything MTF, aged 23. I'm a software engineer by trade and a computer scientist by heart.
Since I was young, I wanted to be a girl, but never really thought about exploring that side of me. Last year I met the partner of my dreams from OkCupid, before I had started questioning my gender.
Randomly, I asked her "Have you ever wanted to be a boy? Sometimes I want to be a girl.". Turns out she's a perfect match for me and is now exploring her self as well. She's very genderqueer and still figuring out if she wants to transition to male or be content with sitting in the middle. We're both exploring our genders together and are probably the least heteronormative couple you could ever find.
Welcome trishatosh...
I'm somewhat new to this myself and i learned that when i turned off the man, gay, girly boy filters that society defines for us i learned about a whole different person within me.
Glad to see you have a partner to share this with.
I hope you both enjoy your odyssey. :)

Same here! A couple of weeks ago I painted my toenails and bought some cute shorts from american apparel. I feel perfectly comfortable at home dressed up like that, but still need to work on my upper half before I'm confident I can go out in public with girl mode, or at least feel comfortable coming out to some more friends. My toes are super cute and I wanna show them off :)
Something else though is now that the original euphoric feeling of finding this previously unexposed facet of me has started to fade, so I'm more questioning my gender than 100% confident I should be female. I plan on going to the LGBT group on campus now that the semester has started (I've got lots of awesome friends in there) and discretely asking some close friends (one happens to be MTF :D) for advice on finding a good psychologist to help me find what I'm looking for.
