Title: Progress! Yay!
Post by: JohnnieRamona on September 03, 2012, 03:26:19 PM
Hi everyone- I just wanted to share some joyous news. I started anti-androgens in mid-July and added estrogen at the end of July... I'm happy to say I've already seen some noticeable changes.

-My bustline had expanded by a full inch, and my breasts are noticably fuller. They are also starting to ache (which is annoying but still a welcome effect).

-My skin and hair are noticably softer, and my body fat seems to be settling into more traditionally "female" patterns.

-My anxiety and depression have faded. I feel happier, and everyone I interact with has remarked on how much more I smile these days.

-My sex drive is different, but not gone. For the first time I feel like I control it, not vice versa.

There's more, but that's the big stuff. It's so exciting! I also start lazer treatments on my neck later this week, with my face to follow if that goes well. I'm still totally presenting as a man, but finally... Progress! YAY!

Thats fantastic! I am in the middle of my 3rd week on HRT, and I have only noticed a slight puffing to my nipples. It could all be in my head...I am eager to see such great results! Good for you! :)
