Title: HRT and Insurance
Post by: Kevin Peña on September 03, 2012, 07:27:35 PM
If you are 18+, but still have your insurance in your parent's name since you don't have a full-time job, do you need to put HRT on any kind of insurance or can you simply pay for hormones after getting them prescribed to you by a doctor? I really do not want my mom to find out before I am ready by looking at her insurance bills or something.

You never HAVE TO have your scripts paid by insurance. When you go to the pharmacy, make sure they know you want to pay cash for the scripts if they carry your insurance info and there will be no hassle.
