I have been told by many i pass but there is one thing i am very much self conscious about an that are my tattoos i have very "mannish" tattoos an i was wondering if anyone else has them an what you do to sorta make them less "mannish" I plan on getting them covered up at the first of the year but until any tips or hints would be very much grateful and also i hope i put this in the right place
Thank You,
Arianna
Hi Arianna, I don't know whether you're still looking for an answer to this question or not but i thought I'd reply :)
I don't have tattoos myself but maybe wear some extra feminine bracelets for your wrists and wear tshirt to three quarter length sleeves (if it's hot, wear lighter material) that should pretty much do it.
I hope this helps!
Depending on where they are, you can try Dermablend for Tattoos (http://www.dermablend.com/skinconditions/tattoos.aspx).
This thread has a little age on it but I'm replying anyway in case someone opens it looking for information.
Back when I was still trying to pass as a female, I tried DermaBlend. That's the only *cosmetic* I've ever had any use for, actually.
DermaBlend comes in 2 forms, face & body. Additionally, it comes in a LOT of shades.
I hate shopping, m'kay? I hate it with an unbelievable passion. The mall? I hate it even more. Despite my distaste, I took myself to a shopping mall to speak to a "cosmetics technician" & make certain I purchased the right shade. ;) The stuff is not cheap.
I have 8 tattoos on my body & one on my face. Ultimately, I ended up with the body formula for both body & face. It was the only shade that worked for both, for me. The body formulation comes in a tube, while the face formula comes in a stick. (Truly, I cannot stress enough how important the employee was on matching the shade to my skin!)
Personally, I wasn't holding out hope for results. Most things simply fail to cover tattoos. However, I was *wrong*. It's different than any cosmetic/foundation I've ever experienced. In a way, it reminds me of liquid latex. It can be a pain in the rear to remove though, unless you have their removal solution.
It breathes as well. Which is nice, because who wants to be a sweaty mess when it's hot?
If you want to see a spectacular example of what the product (& a full makeup crew) can do, google "skeleton boy dermablend". >:-)
As a professional tattoo artist I can tell you a lot is possible with cover ups, but your new tattoo will have to be larger, I am going to be adding flowers and things as back ground to my arms as i have a few kind of masculine tattoos.
Would it be wrong to have this tattooed across my butt cheeks?

A coverup or another possibility is and more general or female type to blend them in. I have 6 and plan on adding to them to guide the in a female direction.
