Title: Hey everyone!
Post by: wrabbit on October 01, 2012, 02:16:40 AM
My name is Edison, I'm 19 and a transboy

Im open to all my friends but being in the military is really tough on my preferred gender expression. For example, wearing the uniform I prefer to wear is a rule-breaker. I really wouldnt have a problem with it if the uniforms were unisex, but they aren't.

Im open to my mom but i dont quite think she understands fully. Luckily her sister's best friend is an MTF, so I have a point of reference when talking about it. She loves Zoey but still uses masculine pronouns with her, and she laughs about it when she gets mad.

I would love to meet some people on here that i could talk about FTM stuff, especially natural estrogen blockers and testosterone boosters, since im in the service I cant full-on go on T yet. It'll also probably help me with my PT, won't it? =.=

Thank you very much and nice to meet you!

Hi Edison, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 8431 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another brother. (https://www.susans.org/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fsmileys.on-my-web.com%2Frepository%2FAnimals%2Fferret-3.gif&hash=f49e2f86761323f2abd9c33941920389dbb3b10f)

Hi Edison, welcome from Boston! Thank you for your service. We have lots of veterans here and some people who began their transitions in the service. (Not HRT, obviously) See you around, hugs, Devlyn

Welcome Edison, thank you for your service. Hopefully our military one day recognises the dedication and service of all people, trans or no. I think it will come, one day. Two years ago who would have thought gays could openly serve, now they do and oddly enough, the military hasn't collapsed like the doomsayers said it would.
