2 days to go before I come out. On the 12th October I will give a letter to my mum and she'll know. I really worried. Every time I think about it I just keep thinking 'Should I? Maybe it would be better if I didn't' But it won't. I know it won't but I don't know if I'll have the courage. I've got the letter hiding behind my cupboard. In its envelope and ready. All I have to do is give it to my mum. I going round my dads Fri-Sat evening. I'm going to leave the letter on my bed and then I'll leave.

It didn't really go to plan. I got scared so I didn't leave the note. BUT my mum was looking for something in my room so she found it anyway. :S So yeah. I REALLY wish she didn't but yeah... She did. I feel like hell. I just wish it had been more planned. I'm just try and avoid her. But it's kind of hard to avoid someone you live with... :(
Ben, I know the step you're taking (whether intentional or not) is a hard one. But part of life is learning to face our fears and deal with the consequences of our choices. I've found that the anticipation of an event is generally much worse than the event itself.
I'm sure it'll work out in some form or another. Your mother loves and will want you to be happy. Just be prepared to answer some tough questions. And remember that you've had longer to accept the real you than she has. Be patient.

Sometimes life has a way of asserting itself...I'm sorry things didn't go according to plan, but at least the truth is out. Give her some time. Good luck, and keep posting.
Everything should work out fine. Like the others said, she may just need time to process it before she comes around. My mom took a while but she couldn't be more supportive now if she tried. :)
We make plans....God laughs. I do think things happen for a reason. You did want her to read the letter otherwise you would not have wrote it. Now that she has read it you can go forward.
