The Threat and Local Observation Notices surveillance program, known as TALON, was launched in 2003 track and monitor domestic terror threats.

But it came under intense scrutiny after news reports revealed officials were collecting data on demonstrators and protestors, including those within the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.

It doesn't say it in the article, but a long time ago I found out that one of the groups they were spying on was The Society of Friends.  For those who don't know it, that's the quaker church.

I dont mind them spying on us really... were NOT a threat....

I just hope that there watching the christian coalition, the right wing evangilists and there "army of god" and those bible camps  *shudders*  Go after the home grown terrorists.... we have them in our back yard... watch Jesus Camp....  we have those people liveing among us planning holy war an all who oppose them...
