Hello everyone! This is my first time joining a site like this. I joined because I'm on a journey to self discovery. I believe, but am not entirely sure, that I'm transgender (specifically FTM) and I joined this site to learn more about myself and about those who have gone down this road.
My biggest hope is to meet like-minded people here, people whom I can't seem to meet in real life anymore. I feel a bit isolated, though not much, and here's to hoping that the compassion I've seen so far on this site is real!
Some of my hobbies include making dolls, playing the saxophone, and writing programs in C++ and Python.
I'll probably be lurking the FTM forums like crazy! So look for me there. And that's about it I guess! I hope I make a lot of friends, and everyone enjoy your day!
Hi Kris, :icon_wave:
Welcome to our little family. Over 8700 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.
Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams. Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.
But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another brother. (https://www.susans.org/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fsmileys.on-my-web.com%2Frepository%2FAnimals%2Fferret-3.gif&hash=f49e2f86761323f2abd9c33941920389dbb3b10f)

You sound neat! What kind of dolls do you make?
I hope you enjoy getting to know yourself better!
Hello and welcome.
I guess it would be fair to say that everyone is transitioning from somewhere to somewhere, we just have a better idea of our life's destination. We are all different, so what ever works for you is totally okay.
My son is FtM so I occaissionally run an eye over the FtM threads, and will comment if I feel I actually have something to contribute.
Karen.
Howdy!
Also, Newb powers unite! :'D
Nice to meet you~ Doll making sounds interesting! What kinds do you make? I've made a few dragon plushies a while back, but Syd's sewing machine bit the dust. ono
Hope you have a good time here~! ^^
Hi Kris,
Another big Aussie welcome to Susan's family. It's good of you to drop in and say "Hi". Hope you like it here, and you stay for a while.
There is a mountain of information, resources and friendship waiting for you here, you just need to jump in and start talking. The compassion you read and feel in this family IS real, and you are now part of it, by choice.
We are also a truly international family, so you'll always find someone up ready to share their experiences.
Looking forward to hearing more of your story in time to come, but in the meantime, be safe, well and happy.
Lotsa huggs
Catherine

I make regular plush dolls. I but fabric from wherever I can, often online, and I sew them up. They're 2d dolls :D
And thanks, I hope so too!

I hand sew all my dolls. I'm terrible at sewing with sewing machines XD Most of my dolls are just humanoid-like things. Their bodies are basically their clothes because I'm still learning how to make clothing for them. I'm learning, though! I just finished making a Christmas doll.
Also yay Newb Powers! ^_^
How cute~ ouo I thought about making those kinds of little dolls for my characters~
They're adorable and I love them to death. No matter my gender, I have an unhealthy obsession with dolls XD
Also you write? =)
Whatever works I say!
And....sorta. I 'write', but I am no good at it so I make comics instead! :D I have good ideas (I think) but I just can't manage something that people would want to read, so I am refining my art skills so I can still tell my stories~
Hi Kris, it's nice to meet you! I live near Boston. See you around the site, hugs, Devlyn
Welcome to Susan's, Kris.
