So, I've recently started T (the 26th of October will be my third injection), and while I haven't noticed many changes yet, there have been a few surprising ones.
1. I gave my roommate beard burn on her shoulder. I was snuggled up because I was sleepy, and laying my face on her shoulder (she was wearing a tank top). I suddenly had to cough, and I didn't want to do it right into her face. I moved my face quickly, only to have her hiss at me. When I pulled away there were several red lines appearing. I had just scraped her bad, and while I've always had sideburns and the beginnings of a goatee, what I scraped her with was jaw line hair on the side. Whoops! :)
2. Hunger. I am suddenly always hungry it seems. I've taken to eating about 3-4 apples a day as snacks, or fruit leather (apple puree, pear puree, and whatever flavor the main fruit is puree... pressed into a fruit strip), or walnuts. Before I started T, when I got hungry I could shrug it off for a couple hours, now though... now it seems like I'm noshing something every 2 hours or so, and when I get to actual meals, I'm one bite in and full. That's the big thing, before T I'd be able to eat and eat and eat, now I eat [an apple], and I'm set.
Those are two of the most surprising changes as of yet. When you started T did anything happen, or did you notice anything about yourself that you didn't expect, or was funny?
Whoa glad to hear you're getting so much facial hair growth, I am a bit jealous!
And yeah I did notice that I would be eating a ton more once I first started T. That settled down a little but my appetite is definitely stronger.
I also noticed I would tend to take a nap after a testosterone injection, like my body was resting and preparing for whatever changes were going to happen or just working on processing it.
I'm happy for you! :D     :) :) :) :) :)
@ChaoticTribe: I've actually always had facial hair, at least since puberty. In the labwork I had done to look at hormone levels, the doctor discovered that I already had a large amount of testosterone in my body. What the T has done so far has started to speckle a few places I was missing it, and darken the hairs already on my upper lip and chin. They've also become a bit more bristly instead of soft.
The naps, I understand entirely. I didn't bring them up because I just like sleep in general and didn't know if it was a result of the injections, or just because I'm lazy and it's my day off (little of column A, and a little of column B).
Oh! I forgot to mention dreams. Ever since I started T, I've been having dreams every single night. Unless I talk about them and write them down, I forgot them. But I remember one where I was an awesome super spy with gadgets and powers, and going into an epic battle with another spy. I'm super badass in my dreams.
@Snowman77; Thank you :)!
I can't cope with hunger any more either. Before T I could easily go a whole day without eating and then realise in the evening "whoops I forgot to eat today!" ... now I wake up and I feel so sick and weak from hunger it's unreal. The last half an hour in class before lunchtime I can barely concentrate because all I can think about is foooooood o_o
I was really really tired when I first started T, it's not as bad now...I think...it's hard to tell, I have to get up really early for college so some tiredness is expected :P
The most surprising change for me is how different my skin and hair feel...they feel....well like crap >.> I'm greasy/spotty and dry/flakey all at the same time

Ahh I had forgotten all about that. Yeah I did used to wake up feeling light headed and nauseous if I didn't eat a LOT right before bed, so I would just have like 4 different snacks, haha. That only lasted a while though, doesn't happen anymore.
For anyone who may be concerned, from my experience it didn't contribute to weight gain either. I ate massive, massive amounts, probably 3x as much as I had previously, and I actually lost fat despite being 116lb when I started, but I got up to 126lb due to the additional muscle. At first I kinda freaked out and kept expecting I was gonna end up needing bigger clothes or cut back on food but that never happened, my body just... used it all I guess.
I was so worried I was going to gain weight with all the extra food I'm eating but I've actually lost 10lbs so far, 5 inches off my hips too, amazed I am!
All that tanking about hunger makes me scared. I already have high metabolism. I don't want to make it worse!... Well I guess I can't change that...
Hunger is pretty intense on T. I still have kind of a small appetite and can't eat too much at once, but my metabolism has sped up a lot so I'm eating every couple of hours. I was pretty worried about weight gain at first too, but it seems to be going into my arms and shoulders.
Im actually kind of excited to be eating more :P I feel like I dont eat enough at the moment and its just because I never really feel hungry!
