Anybody live there?
Yes, lots of people live there.
What part mite you be moving to anyway? Its a fairly diverse state.
I mean anybody on here haha and wake forest or like elsewhere rite outside raleigh
I do believe there is at least one ftm here that lives near that area. I'm mtf and live at the coast myself. Not much trans community here, but I know there is around Raleigh.
Why North Carolina?

Why North Carolina?
Are you implying that there is something wrong with North Carolina?
It's not exactly the most progressive state.
I lived in NC for a few years. It is a pretty nice place, but not exactly liberal. Wake Forest is a good area. If I remember correctly, pretty low crime rate.
One good thing about NC, the food! I liked all the little restaurants there.
Also, Myrtle Beach is only a few hours away. It is a fun place to visit.
As far as lgbt friendly laws go, no. But its still not a bad state to live in. There are a number of states much worse and I don't think we even got mentioned in the worst state thread, lol.
I loved Ashville, but kinda like Austin in Texas, it's the odd place out.
Heck, I live in a very conservative christian area and most people like me and treat me with respect and proper pronouns and all that and I am far from stealth considering I lived here before transitioning. But then too, I know I have changed some minds here too once they got to know me and realized that just being trans has nothing to do with how good a person you are or are not. The older people seem to like me the most, oddly enough.
I only know a bit about Asheville; I lived there for 3 yrs. LOVED IT!
Cheers!
My implication was to find out why Brayden is moving. Not to hijack a thread to talk about the pros and cons of North Carolina.
