So, I don't really know what gender I am. Physically I am a female... mostly. As you can see, I have facial hair (not taking testosterone).
I am so frustrated not knowing what I am. I hate my mom always telling me about my facial hair - like I don't know it's there. But the thing is, if she'd leave me alone, I'd be fine letting it grow out. I definitely don't do makeup or dresses or heels.
I am so confused.

Short answer, you're whatever gender or non gender that you want to be. And we won't hold you to it, change gender anytime you like! Hugs, Devlyn
Thanks Devlyn!
I think deep inside I do know... but growing up in such a conservative and racist household (I'm not racist!) that I can't acknowledge my true self to anyone else.
Luckily gender is nothing but a construct of society :) but you're not the only one that happens to. In my intro to anthropology class we watched a documentary on the 'bearded lady'. She allowed her facial hair to grow out because she felt fake whenever she thought of getting rid of it. I thought it was pretty neat, but I'm sure you can imagine how the rest of the class reacted :-\ and I hear ya about growing up in a christian conservative household, it is quite stifling. But you know what, do what you want cus you only have one life, might as well live it as you please! :)
" I can't acknowledge my true self to anyone else"
Except us, of course! We accept everyone for who they are. Welcome to our family. Hugs, Devlyn
