This evening, there is a PFLAG meeting that is really important to me since there will be a doctor there who is willing to help people transition as well as at least two other trans guys (and I am badly in need of RL support). I asked my friend to babysit for me in return for the times (plural) I babysat for her. She has had plenty of notice.
So she tells me this afternoon that she might not be able to. Excuse me? She's telling me this now? And it's because she agreed to do something else after agreeing to babysit for me. Apparently, she couldn't ask for a different time even though her new thing is not time sensitive. Apparently, she also couldn't give me advance notice. She may be back in time, but she "may be really upset." F that! She called me twice in one night when I was trying to get to sleep when I had a test at school the next morning to tell me that her ex had threatened me and that she still expected me to pick up her son from him for her. Sorry, but using the "upset" thing as an excuse is hypocritical and disrespectful. I've babysat for her a few times as well as other favours that she hasn't paid me back for yet. I've gone out of my way to help her out even though I didn't always want to (like when I babysat for her even though it was my son's bedtime too). This may seem petty, but I feel like this is a huge a lack of respect and that I am being used/taken for granted.

She told you she would then backed out. Regardless of what you've done for her, she's still leaving you high and dry.
Not fair.
Some people are users. Good to know what she is.
