Title: One Month On T-FRUSTRATION
Post by: FlightyBrood on November 15, 2012, 02:37:01 PM
Okay, I just need to vent really.

I know changes take time. I can get that and be patient. I am one month and some weeks on testosterone. After one month, I noticed that my immune system had changed, and I was now allergic to my cat. Great. Im constantly itchy no due to this, it really sucks. My boyfriend, also FTM, started hormones one month after me, so there is some hormonal differences there and we've been fighting a lot lately. It's stressing me out a bit.

What really bothers me is that this morning, i found out i was having my monthly 'manly time'. All of my friends ceased having theirs after one month, I thought that, hey, internal changes cause i am allergic to my cat now! Yeah! Freedom to be naked 100% of the time!

WRONG. Then I read it might take SEVERAL MONTHS for those to stop. So here I sit, dysphoric and grumpy cause the chair im sitting in is the cat's chair and its covered in his fur.

Ive also been having binder issues lately. Ive been using a waist trimmer and it pokes out through my shirt and is really painful. I just cant win!

If it makes you feel any better I am still having shark week and I have been on T for 11months -- now my doctor is concerned and running test but your not the only dude having issues.

My T levels are in the male range --- my voice is dropping - I have facial hair -- I have hair on my chest -- my fat is redistributing -- so I am having changes but my ovaries are apparently still working

Now I'm two months in, and still bleeding! My voice is deeper and I've got peach fuzz.

It's hard to be happy about the good things when one very very very bad thing won't frik off!
