So....since my last post, my 'husband' has been pretty neutral. Now he's trying to move out of the area.....with me.
Wait....what?!
We had decided months ago to stick to this area because it was in the middle of all our friends, and I was 2 blocks away from my friend and business partner, who comes over and helps me around the house and with the baby....DAILY.
Because she is MtF, he now views her as a threat(to the point of accusing me of wanting to be a man to be with her).
I feel he wants to move me out of the area of my support system to keep me from going through with transition.
However, I came out on a social network site to 90+ friends of ours(not facebook) and told my mother today. The friends took it well.....Mom, not so much. Regardless....
There's no going back. This is me.
He needs to shut up and deal, and realize he cannot bully me into moving where he wants me to move. >:-)
I'm calling legal aid on Monday, as well as a preemptive message to the ACLU due to the area in which I live.
The bible belt SUCKS for people in my situation :'(

I definitely think he's trying to remove you from your support system, and major kudos to you for fighting back. Sometimes people will surprise you in the 'bible belt', I've found lots of well-mannered, supportive, and helpful people in the south.
