I felt like it would be a good idea to introduce myself. I'm not new to crossdressing but I have many questions since I'm looking to take it a step or two farther than I ever have before. I'll be creating a few topics around the board, hopefully I won't be repeating what's already been asked or said, usually happens though!
I won't go into much detail right now, kinda nervous and kinda shy. But I look forward to getting to know some of you and becoming an active member.

Welcome Kayla (Pretty name!)... and Hello! to you
You're going to like it here. No reason to be nervous or shy with us... But I am guessing you have quite a bit of homework ahead of you, I do too! I just came out to myself and others, and am readying to start my own transition. Asking for help and doing the research is the first step. So you're on your way!!! Look forward to hearing from you! Peace, Holly
Hi Kayla, it's nice to meet you! I'm up near Boston. Don't be nervous, if you have questions ask them. We're all here to help each other. See you around the site, hugs, Devlyn
Hi Kayla, :icon_wave:
Welcome to our little family. Over 9051 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.
Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams. Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.
But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another member. (https://www.susans.org/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fsmileys.on-my-web.com%2Frepository%2FAnimals%2Fferret-3.gif&hash=f49e2f86761323f2abd9c33941920389dbb3b10f)

Thanks girls!! I don't think I'll be coming out anytime soon but it would be nice. The only person that really knows about my dressing and is supportive is my mother, thank God for her. If I'd known what I know now when I was a teenager, I would have went through the steps necessary to begin HRT and I'd be a happier person today. Shoulda, woulda, coulda... I guess.
But I'm happy to be here, thanks for the welcome.
Kayla
Hi Kayla, here's a warm welcome from me. I had also been shy, I guess most of us have. You have an advantage in having an accepting mother. That is huge. Hugs, Beatrice
Yea she didn't act too surprised when I told her, we were sitting on my couch and I figured the easy way was just to show her my bra straps, so I did. It's just cd'ing right now for me but who knows what the future holds. She was very supportive of it, bought me a few things that I wanted, some things I needed and did my make-up for me which was very nice. I still have a long way to go and lots of things to consider and think about...
Thanks!!
Hi Kayla,
A big Aussie welcome to Susan's family. It's good of you to drop in and say "Hi". Hope you like it here, and you stay for a while.
There is a mountain of information, resources and friendship waiting for you here, you just need to jump in start talking and ask any question you like. You're quite safe here and we are very accepting.
Good you have a supportive Mum. They are worth all the tea in Boston harbour. You appear to be handling the situation very well. Your openness and honesty will reap large rewards as time goes on.
Looking forward to hearing more of your story in time to come, but in the meantime, be safe, well and happy.
Lotsa huggs
Catherine
Thanks again to all who have replied!!

Thanks Gennee !!
Welcome Kayla,
I will follow you as I'm able. I have lots to learn. There is good energy from you. Susan's will only amplify it.
Hi Kayla,
Welcome hun. No need to be nervous or shy here
Hugs
Hi Kayla!
Welcome to Susan's!
Hi Kayla,
I was shy and not knowing what to talk about in my youth. Knowing yourself builds confidence and the nervous shyness should fade away. This is your safe place to get past your shy nature. You have a super Mom that accepts your cd, buys you things and does make up. I did cd in my teens, it vanished in most of my working years until about 10 years ago. With the net I have learned so much more about why and my gender identity, been mostly mtf full time in retirement. There is a cd forum and family here with lots of experience, so ask away and we can answer your questions.
Jamie
Aww, I appreciate the sweet comments, thanks girls!!
