Title: Cheap Binder
Post by: MaxAloysius on November 25, 2012, 05:45:29 AM
I discovered the website AliExpress a couple of days ago, and have basically spent the last few days looking at anything and everything! Then on a whim I decided to look for trans-related stuff, and turned up this:

http://www.aliexpress.com/item/3-colours-Strapless-Flat-Chest-Breast-Bind-Lesbian-Tomboy-free-shipping-B/530817460.html (http://www.aliexpress.com/item/3-colours-Strapless-Flat-Chest-Breast-Bind-Lesbian-Tomboy-free-shipping-B/530817460.html)

I can't speak to the quality of the binder, as I haven't tried and no longer need one, but I figure at $14 + free shipping, it's got to be better than nothing! :)

Oh yes, got something like this from ftm mall. Basically it looks like a giant ace bandage but it is made of less flexible stuff. It has velcro to close so I thought that meant you could kind of control how tight it was. You can't. I didn't think it was comfortable at all and kind of shows a crease where it is. (It is not flat.) But it is cheapo. FTM mall they are maybe $11. Comes in a bunch of colors, two widths, and any size (to a limit, I suppose). It binds VERY well. YMMV

This one has hooks and eyes for the closure, which means you have a couple of centimetres to play with if you need it a little more tight/loose. It's the same kind of closure as the one I had to use after surgery, which I found bound very well, so I thought it might work well. I dunno; just thought I'd put it up for guys to have a look at. :)

Thanks for your input aleon. :{D

Can't seem to find size information  :(. I have a pretty big chest and am about 3x the size of the model, so while that's an attractive price, I'm scared it would strangle me (or simply not go round me).

The size chart is at the top; just scroll down a tiny bit from the top and you should be able to see it. It's an image I believe, so if you're having trouble it might be that it's not loading. If you can't see it let me know, and I'll type out the chart for you. :)

Found it. Had to laugh out loud so as not to cry with despair. No chance would that fit me. It's looking more and more like I should aim for the binders meant for cis men with gynocomastia, those seem to have a much better chance of fitting, though they're not cheap.

I feel very envious of trans men who are slim to begin with.

It's all gouda, Underworks seem to have useful stuff.

MORF are sending me a pre-owned one, hopefully that'll at ;least give me an idea of what works for me.
