Oh, my 10,000 post.
What should I say? Does anyone care?
Are so many posts a sign of futility or concern, a bad and poor life, an unwillingness to face the future?
A useless person who needs to talk on the Internet?
A few years ago I knew a person called Peter. He was a very brave boy, he tried so hard to protect his sister and that in the end he died for her. he saved her brain when she was raped. He made her work so she had a job. My Goddess he was strong.
He found Susan's and thought maybe he could help her. He tried to reach out and let his sister meet others.
He struggled, he lived his life and wasn't sure he wanted to die.
He realised something; He had to die for his sister to live.
He loved me so much he decided to die.
I thank him
I love you.
Cindy

We love you, Cindy!
Now you've gone and done it.
I thought it might keep you quiet for a while..alas not.
(That's going to hurt as the red hot poker comes out) :o
Not 10,000 any more.
Oh well untill the next 10,000 posts....(9,999)
Love J :-*

No.
They are sign of someone who is seeking to give the support to others, that would have been so good for you, I and many others in our generation.
You make a difference. We make a difference. The world is a different place now. A very different place. It has got there because of people like Susan, like you, even hopefully, me.
I doubt anyone can ask for more from one lifetime.

It's a sign of your giving nature. Each of us who had you respond to one of our posts, whether in humor, compassion or wisdom, feels touched by your special attention.
Happy 10,000th post!

Yes, we do care.
I'm sure I'm not the only one here who can say with all honesty that you've been a tremendous inspiration to me.
I love you, too.
I jumped ship here once, it was Cindy who pulled me back onboard. Love you, hon! Hugs, Devlyn

Congrats to a wonderful woman.. A woman, without whom, I may not be here. At a time I was a scared and scarred young girl, she showed me that transition was possible, if I wanted it.
Thank you, Cindy!
Hi Cindy,
A big Aussie welcome to Susan's family. It's good of you to drop in and say "Hi", for the ten thousanth time. Hope you like it here, and you stay for a while.
There is a mountain of information, resources and friendship waiting for you here, you just need to jump in start talking and ask any question you like. You're quite safe here and we are very accepting.
Oh! Just to get you started Hun, your intro should have been posted in the "Introduction" section, where you'll also find a helpful thread for newbies to help them navigate their way round here.
Looking forward to hearing more of your story in time to come, but in the meantime, be safe, well and happy.
Lotsa huggs
Catherine

Don't worry Kupcake. Just a bit of Aussie banter. We really are all mad here, and I'm no exception.

My shrink does not hand out certificates but he has told me I have
"no mental defect or disease". He must doubt the results though because every three months he pulls me back in to see if I am crazy yet.

As you know the same one thinks I'm sane - a common link - he is mad!!
I have checked the expiry date on the back of the certificate and darn it, it's expired...
Oh well looks like my insanity has returned. ???

I have considered that, but then realised that the entire population of Adelaide is barking - otherwise they'd all have moved east long ago..

Not sure of that; there are some very strange woman that I know on the East Coast and on the Island.
BTW we must try to catch up before Chrissie even if it is just for a wine and whine.

Be very afraid Jenny. It's a fake certificate.  :P
All therapist are essentially mad, insane, nuts, non compus mentus, and they are trying to drag us into their lair.
Be ever vigilant

Damn!!! Let me know who they are and I'll get a "hit" squad into them. Glad I live in Sydney and not this damn East Coast place.

Well now that, that mad woman from the Apple Isle appears to have got herself lost in Launny somewhere, AND is not going west as she said. (Nudge, nudge, wink, wink say no more) I'll come down very early new year and catch up. That's a threat not a promise. I've got some serious branding to do.

Hmmmmmm perhaps this thread should be renamed. How about "The Girls Down under?" No that could be misconstrued as something tacky, how about
"The Girls from Oz?"
Cindy, you are fast becoming my heroine on here. That first post was beautiful and moving.

I'm lucky enough to be one of Cindy's friends out in the big wide world, I can tell you she is a remarkable woman - despite her protests to the contrary. She was there for me when I was a scared male-presenting little girl..

Keep working at it girl, and keep moving forward, one step at a time, one day at a time, and you'll soon have more confidence than you can poke a stick at.
Spend 15-20 minutes daily, by yourself in quite private reflection of the days achievements and you'll have whatever you want in no time.
Be safe, well and happy

Cindy,
Congratulations on joining the 10 kilometer club! It's like the mile high club, but with astronauts.
You have been an inspiration to me, though I will never walk in your heels... they are too high and I would fall off. :)
