Title: people are horrible
Post by: anibioman on December 14, 2012, 11:57:01 AM
so to set up this situation me and my guy friends tommy, brian, and adam are planning a party and we need to invite some girls the girls we normally hang out with are being annoying. we intend on hanging out with annie a girl brian is friends with and a bunch of her girl friends. we planned on this a bout a week ago. now today tommy tells me annie doesnt want to come and she is 'being a bitch'. i press tommy about how she was 'being  a bitch' tommy was a bit evasive and then tells me its because of the whole transgender thing referring to me.

1 i didnt know tommy knew i was trans and now i wonder if annie outed me

2 annie you suck. we sat at the same table in art 2 years ago and you seemed cool with me.

3 annie probably outed me to a ton of other people too which i dont need her friends knowing because they after in the grade bellow me and unlike people in my grade they dont already know.

Yeah, some people seem to get some sort of screwed up satisfaction from telling people something like that. It sucks, but not much you can do but distance yourself from that type of person. Hopefully if enough people go "so what" at the news, then they tend to lose some steam and it's not as enjoyable for them.

Id echo what was said here. Hopefully people will be cool about the news (IF she actually has opened her mouth to more people - the best thing would be she hasnt!), and hopefully its just her who is being the idiot about it and everyone else isnt phased by it at all.
It does suck and Im sorry to hear about the situation, especially for a close guy friend you thought didnt know, to actually know. Ive had this happen before, and even if they are cool with it, it sucks when someone takes it upon themselves to tell others. I then feel that no matter how accepting someone is, they then dont see me as a regular guy anymore.
I would distance myself from the girl who told. You may want to do a bit of digging first, to check if it truly did come from her, first. I dont know, its up to you. And if you find out it was her, you have the opportunity to tell her off basically.

I hope all goes alright for you.
