Merry Christmas to you too Cindy Lou Who, and all of you dear Whos down in the Who Continent. Wear lots of sunscreen and avoid overheating please by drinking lots of tall cool ones today. I am huddling in my bed waiting for the furnace to turn back on, while the winter wind howls and meows.

Ha so hot you can fry eggs on the pavement.

The beach? forget it, so hot your skin is off in 10 mins. You can tell the tourists; all white: tomorrow? Agony.

Well it came close to snowing today at Bondi!

One of the coldest Xmas days on record. Got to a shivering 16C today with pouring rain.
Almost had to put on a jumper to keep warm.
Not a good beach day so no lobstered backpackers today.

5:30 AM and there is 2" of fresh light powder and still coming down lightly in my part of town.  A Colorado Christmas!  Don't burn your soles, Cindy!  This danged foot pain meds I been taking for a month has really messed with my internal clock.  I hope I don't sleep past noon!

Merry Christmas Cindy, though you are already past it. It is a rainy, foggy mild day here in Atlanta, Georgia. 48F at 7:45am Christmas morn. Soon headed to mom's to prepare turkey dinner for the two of us. Stay safe out there today everyone. Especially my northern friends with all of your new snow.

Merry Christmas one and all, hope it has gone/goes well for everyone.

Cindy

Thank you. It's not as cold as it was, but still wet.

Just had a Skype chat with family in Africa, they seem to be much the same as you, with heat.

Trust our friends in the States and around are having their usual variety of fun.

Take care all.

I live in the southwest US which is hardly like Australia, but we do NOT have snow on Christmas. Every year there is much bruhaha about *this one* being a white Christmas. No not so much. Sunny, clear, probably 50 degrees.

OTOH, I would rather live where I don't have to chip away ice to find my car like I did in Chicago.
I can look at the snow in the mountains if I want. Or I could drive up to the top of the mountain where it can stay.

So Merry Christmas you a little closer Northerners and REAL Southerners down under.

Hi, Cindy,

The weather forecast on Washington, DC is no good: "Sleet, cloudy, and FISCAL CLIFF"  ::)

Merry Christmas to you and to all at Susan's!!!

We got to about 37'C where I live but Perth the main city in Western Australia got to about 41'C and apparently was named the hottest city in the world for Christmas.

I would take your forecast over that anyday Peky.

Merry Christmas Cindy!

It was rainy and damp here....like it usually is for Christmas in my area.

We get our one day of snow and sleet in Feb.

Just a side note:  December 27th will mark my one year anniversary here.  :)
