very good interview, Connie.  I would hope that children would be taught early about gender variant people, but i don't think it ever will.  As long as schools are not allowed to go outside of the "religious" norm, it won't happen.

Well, I don't know about a "religious norm," but I think you're probably right. For whatever reason, they seemed to have edited out the questions I was being asked and I was answering what I thought would help.

As an aside, I've never heard you speak before, but I love the way you talk. Your voice is really gentle and rather calming somehow. :)
