I can't afford a binder right now, so I'm looking at alternatives in the form of compressing sports bras. Or as my partner lovingly deemed them for me, "man girdles". This one looks like it compresses as or almost as well as a binder. My chest isn't huge but not tiny, it's about 34 B. Anyone with B or even small C had luck with this product? How flat does it get the chest, by the model pictures it looks like it flattens them out quite well.

hi,
I am actually mtf, but still in male mode so I have to wear something to hide my breasts.
I have tried many different sports bras and this one seems to work best for me, is cheap and doesn't show much:

While I can't really say anything about the sports bra, I own Champion brand products. Their compression is practically non-existent. I have one compression shirt (I use them as rash guards) that's 3 sizes too small, and it still doesn't compress at all. I recommend you instead either buy a cheaper used binder or go through something like the big brother program. Unless its that small or your chest squishes down that easily, sports bras tend to be a waste of money.
As someone with the same chest size, I can say that I've tried their sports bras, and even ones that are 34A. Doesn't really help. I now use the (xs 997) binders from Underworks and I still think if people stared, they'd be able to tell that it's not flat, but it's made the biggest difference. I know that's out of your budget right now, but I'd recommend saving up for 'em (and definitely not try the DIY ace bandage method that could cause some serious problems).
I also think the model probably is naturally a much smaller size to begin with.

I looked at her and said, "Is she even an adult?" Seriously, how tiny is she?!? Looks like this Indian girl I know who is in her 20's but won't look older than 12 until she hits 60.
Thanks for the replies.
If you're still looking, when I'm in "female" mode for work or when I'm wearing a hoodie or vest or jacket or something when I can get away with not binding, I wear these-- http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3977572 (http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3977572) I've still got boobs, but the bra squishes them down enough to make me comfortable. Honestly, though, any decent sports bra is going to cost almost as much as an Underworks binder.
I've got a Champion bra that is very good at compression. But not sure what the name of it is.
