Yo. I've been dealing with gender issues for years and years and have recently looked myself in the face and said to myself that I didn't have to hide to myself anymore. But the issue now is to tell others, especially with close loved ones who aren't the most understanding/accepting. Advice please 'cause I have a tendency to say really stupid things when I have to get something important out. Thanks - Fei
Write down what you want to say first, hon. Then you can edit it if it doesn't look right, and get it all straight in your head before either saying what you want to say, or just handing over what you've written if you feel it might be too difficult to say face to face. Then it's not on the spot, or improvised, and you give yourself some time to put how you feel into words.
