Title: clothing size change on hrt with relatively stable weight
Post by: Jane's Sweet Refrain on January 03, 2013, 05:50:05 AM
I don't think I've seen this question posted, but please forgive any redundancy. I'm just under 5 months into hrt with the hope of living full-time at the end of a year. My weight dropped a few pounds right after I began hormones, but it's held steady since. I am just starting to venture out presenting as my real gender, but here is my trivial question. For those of you girls who maintained a relatively steady weight during the first year of hrt, did you experience a radical change in clothing size (shirts, pants, dresses, skirts)?  I'm asking because sales are tempting me to buy more clothing that I absolutely need at this point so that my budget doesn't take as large a hit next year. I'll hang up and take my answer off the air.

I gain little (to lower edge of normal weight scale) and my waist is slimmer, ribcage also reduced volume
I gain mostly on hips, legs and belly (under waist), with this last one I will must to do something
