I don't know who, specifically in the Minnesota area, but the first step is therapist. You need a trans friendly therapist, who may be able to point you in the right direction for the rest.

Otherwise, there are a lot of resources out there. After therapist, most people who transition choose to start with taking testosterone. For that, you'll need a GP, who may require a therapist's letter or psychiatrist's letter. He or she may also want an endocrinologist involved.

As far as chest surgery, there are a lot of good chest surgeons out there. I went to Brownstein in SF and am very happy with the results.

Most wait a while for bottom surgery and many don't get it at all.

Good luck and welcome to Susans. Have a look at the site rules when you have a moment, and explore around. Some of your questions may be answered already.

Dennis

Dennis, or anywone else that can answer,
I  was wondering if you could tell me what it cost for your top surgery? I can't wait to have that done. I am in Southern California, but I have biological family up north, Daly City and South S.F. areas. I was adopted, grew up in Illinois, but my birth mother found me 9 years ago. She is in S.F. Anyway finding a good surgeon at a good rate would be helpful. Thanks
