Title: Letter, doctor
Post by: Ellie on January 09, 2013, 11:23:18 PM
I haven't posted on a long while, but i have a question, I have been going to a therapist for about three months, i think i might be the first T that ever went to him but i talked about the letter to him, and does it matter if he is a phd or not to sign it?, and he also wants me to go to the doctor myself and see if i can get hormones without letter. So if i go to the doctors, what do i say when i go there? Like do i just tell them i just only wanna see the doctor about something and don't have to talk to anyone else or what?

Sounds as if he is clueless.

Download the WPATH SOC protocols and give them to him and tell him to sign a letter that in his opinion your are suffering from gender identity disorder and require appropriate medical treatment.

Then find another therapist.

Good Luck!!
