Well; I didn't know where to put this, but yeah I'm the student, and on Friday I was finally accepted as a boy by my gym teacher.
I guess this is more of a life story, but this involves one of my teachers, so I decided to put it here.
So, we were doing this activity in gym, and we were supposed to be separated into groups based on gender, and then we would race around the gym. It alternated between boy and girl.
I was nervous, and I sat far apart from everyone in my group, kind of in-between the boy line and the girl line. After a while, my gym teacher came over and asked me if I was going to participate or not. I was nervous, but I ended up explaining my situation. I didn't get very far, she asked me if I which line I would like to be in. Of course, I answered boy. I was so surprised, they let me stay in the boy's line. I was just overjoyed. c: Probably the happiest moment in the new year so far. I had a little medical emergency after that, but I'm fine now. Just a little reaction to all that running.
Still extremely happy about my gym teacher accepting me. She even told me that she admired my decision, and that it was a strong thing that I did.
Just wanted to share this with everyone.
That has left a smile on my face too! :D
