Title: Facial hair
Post by: Tammy M on January 15, 2013, 09:23:43 PM
Something (good) is happening with my facial hair.  I am not shaving today or tomorrow in preparation for electrolysis the following day.  What I am noticing is the hair on my upper lip.  I had it cleared back in September and in November it was coming back in strong again.  NOW, in January, it only seems that a few hairs are even growing there.  Today finishes my 8th month of HRT and I think the hormones are finally starting to slow my facial hair growth.  The hair on my upper lip was the last to come in.  I was almost 30 when it filled out and it was never enough to really grow a 'stashe or anything, if I had wanted to.  Hopefully it is weaker there and now going away and I will not need much more electrolysis there.  The rest of my face seems to be growing slower than just a couple months ago also and I only hope its long enough for her to do electrolysis on me day after tomorrow...

Because only a % of follicles are active at any given time the % of visible hairs will also vary from month to month. Sometimes this difference can be seen other times it wont be noticed.

It sometimes appears that you have less hair but often times unless you have been removing the hair permanently it will just be a case of the above...
