I take the occasional picture of my facial hair to keep myself updated. I like keeping track of the little things that I know I wouldn't notice.
So, I take these pictures in high resolution with a macro lens. And today I noticed one. red. hair. Does anybody else have this sort of thing going on? Is it going to stay red or will it get in line and develop to be a brown-ish color like the rest of 'em?

My roommate with a full beard has random red hairs and he's got dark brown hair. He says they've always been there.
thats cool i have a friend with redish brown hair who has two brown patches on his chin. i have light brown hair with a patch of blond almost white hair.
This is interesting. I have some white and some red in mine. Especially on the chin.

I have a few red hairs that grow in on my chin, never anywhere else on my face... they're not really noticeable unless I'm in the sun though. I think it's pretty normal.
Mine is red and blond. I think lots of guys have different colors in their beard. My dad's was mostly brown but had a bunch of red in it; just not as much as mine. My head and body hair is mostly various shades of blond.
Nygeel, I think you will either develop more red in your beard or just a few more strays. Yours hasn't really grown in it yet, so you never know.
my husband has grown out a beard once, and we all laughed at him because his hair is medium brown and the beard was red as could be. Needless to say he has shaved it ever since... Seems to be rather common then...
I have two full-bearded exes. Both have dark brown hair, and both have red hairs sprinkled in. So based on my research, this happens 100% of the time. :P
I got brown hair but my facial hair seams mostly blonde..
A friend of mine also has some red hair in his beard.
It does seem to be fairly common.

It's hard to say.
My beard is mostly dark brown, with very little variation,
But the hair that I grow on my head...when it's not dyed, is extremely varied as far as individual strands go,
While most of it's brown, I've got random red running all over the place and a random streak of almost blond hair at the top of my head...
It's not as noticeable as it used to be, I was once known as the male version of Rogue from X-Men...pretty awesome,
But yeah...consensus says that it's normal. No worries.
