Title: Oh dear I've done something different
Post by: Cindy on January 30, 2013, 01:34:26 AM
Please, please don't tell anyone.

Particularly Catherine Sarah, she will 'mock' me with rude comments.

I bought a car this afternoon. Second hand.

   (https://www.susans.org/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fliveimages.carsales.com.au%2Fcarsales%2Fcar%2Fdealer%2F131702615.jpg%3Fheight%3D290%26amp%3Baspect%3Dcentered%26amp%3Bwidth%3D440&hash=7e3fbb331f0f922740238d0e359a97ce81a0e5bd)

The worse thing, Oh the shame,  can I ever live in stealth?

Will I always be seen as a failure? Someone who doesn't blend in like a normal person?

The shy retiring type who apologises for being me?

Hides my GID, never acknowledges myself.

What am I crapping on about?

I stuck personalised number plates on it.

CINDY'S

I'm pretty sure no one will notice :embarrassed:

Heee Heeee

Its a nissan figaro. They only made a few thousand of them and only made them in Japan so they drive on the wrong side for everywhere except Japan and the UK I think! :-) x

OK.  Are you in Japan?

Seems very silly but I never associate Japan with beaches. Which in pretty silly and narrow minded I have to admit!!

Now, this is a nice choice.. Even if it is just a Fiat 850 Sports with a new shell.. I grew up in a family that had Italian cars.. Fiat's, Lancia's, Alfa's..

We drive on the correct side of the road.

Nice car Cindy. I don't think anyone will notice so no need to worry.

Cindy, congrats, I'm sure you're going to have some fun with that car!  I have to say though, that your number plate choice is tragic! :P

Jamie - pity you had to part with the Bertone, that was a nice car.

That's a nice car, but I think I'd be more interested in the scenery behind it. Looks beautiful.

The photo is taken at West Lakes in Adelaide.  A residential area.  The light towers in the background, if you can make them out, are the towers for AAMI stadium, a football ground for the Adelaide Crows and Port Power the AFL teams in South Australia.

The lake is a man-made from swamp land and is a popular area for inland water sports. It also has quite a large number of blue ring octopus. Typical of Australia, beauty is tempered by the beasts, blue rings have a fatal bite, but very very rarely is anyone bitten.

Hugs

Cindy

With an umbrella and Arctic clothing?

Hee Hee.

We even had rain today, it's quite funny driving in Adelaide in summer when it rains. Lots of bozo's don't seem to recognise it and forget that the car doesn't stop the same on a wet slippy road.

So we have rear end collisions at lots of traffic lights.
