Title: Need dating advice
Post by: Wild Flower on January 31, 2013, 10:23:56 PM
I am presenting as a heterosexual sexual man. I think I am asexual...

And there's this girl in college who seems to be interested in me, at least I think so, since she told me her whole lifestory (half-siblings, doesn't like her father, no mother, told me she like historical fiction novels). She open up to me. She even touch my face to remove something on it, which I found surprising.

and the conversation we had was somewhat sexual to the bizarre (like diabetic blood checking to Jane Austen novels) She told me, "I'm straight. I'm not bisexual, I like guys" because we we're talking about a guy guy, and then she said she had lesbian friends.

And then she told me she's a hermit, and has a hard time talking to people. (This is the second week of knowing her)

..................................
Do you think if I ask her out on a date she would say yes?? If she tells me no it would be awkward because we're partners in a project for college. But isn't that how people go on dates, by asking. lol

I do all those things you mentioned with my friends. It doesn't mean I want to sleep with them or anything.

Maybe she will, maybe she won't. If she does say no she might just be shy about it, she sounds shy anyway, you can guess by her exact reaction. (But remember, that doesn't mean you should be pushy or creepy. :))

Keep it casual and ask her if she wants to meet for coffee to discuss your project.  It's a start and you can maybe get a better idea  about her.
