Title: Are there any of you who have had successful adoption/IVF stories?

Just curious. Both are often given as options to transsexuals who want to have kids after their transition but I've never heard about it happening on here, probably because both are pretty hard and most don't seem to want kids anyway. Some do have kids but they had them before transition, not after.

This is something I'm curious about as well, I want children and plan on adopting in the future.

I plan on adopting once I am in a serious relationship. I already have one son but he is my biological son. I don't think it will be any issue adopting as I am in a very LGBT friendly place.

On a similar not, I think adoption is wonderful. I was adopted and I had an amazing life. I've met my birth mother and know my life would have been hell if I was raised by her. I think those that are able to open their hearts up enough to adopt are wonderful people.

I think it's great too. I was watching China's Lost Girls with Lisa Ling yesterday and I almost cried in a happy way, lol
