Post by: Riley Skye on February 08, 2013, 12:43:40 PM
So far its been 5 weeks since i started e,  just a low dose. So far im feeling very calm and relaxed for the most part. Its been a very interesting month with all my friends and family still getting used to me actually starting hormones. Its been good except that im worried im on too low of a dose since im not feeling any physical effects yet. Ill know how its going when i see the endo in a couple weeks

I felt the same at five weeks, just give it a little more time. Hang in there!

I wouldn't worry too much yet.  In the scheme of things you've barely started  :D

My gf just started hers too (last week  ;D) and the endo told us that starting at a low dose and going up is beneficial to breast development. So far she hasn't felt any effects yet either.. except one, she said its not as forceful when she ejaculates? She had a hard time explaining it haha, but yeah I'm feelin a little impatient too! I'm so excited for things to begin change! Hopefully you'll get some too, and good luck on ur journey!

Its terribly exciting, you want to see everything happen but time goes so slow through second puberty. Its quite amusing if you ask me. All I've really noticed was my body hair growing back slightly slower. My endo told me a low dose of E is all I may need but I have a feeling I'll be put on blockers

There are many things to look forward to--just wait until your skin gets softer! :3

Your endo sounds like mine. He started me on just estrogen, because estrogen itself is a t-blocker. At my 2 month checkup, testosterone levels had fallen by one third. I have a 5 month checkup soon and we'll see where the testosterone levels are then.

I have extensive male pattern baldness at my age but I am seeing considerable regrowth so far. It's still terribly thin where it is regrowing but I can be patient with this. I've already accepted wearing wigs if I must but if I get enough regrowth to allow transplants to be effective, I'll consider that for sure.

It makes me very happy to hear that even just estrogen can sufficiently block DHT enough to allow for regrowth.  I am 22 and I've been a little worried that even with T-blockers and estrogen the receding hairline at my temples would not grow back into something resembling a female hairline.

It's still too early to tell if its working, Im hoping that my T levels have been dropping steadily but somehow i doubt it. Also I'm starting to feel my temples getting fuzzier every week so i guess the meds are working :D

Just before my low dose was raised I noticed some changes with my nipples that I wasn't sure about. I kept thinking,  "Are they buds or am I just cold?". My cats knew though, they've taken to stepping on recently tender parts of my chest!  So I did notice that change before my dose went up.

My "junk" (I don't get why cismales call it that.  I thought they liked theirs?) is nice and dormant.

I don't really see changes in my skin but I can feel them.  I think my lips might be getting plumper too.

Hair has not changed.

All of the changes listed, except for the lips, were first noticed while I was still on the low dose.  Going up has only removed the doubts by amplifying the changes.
