Hi, I know it is probably annoying having me post two things in the same day but this is different from my last being that I'm curious about tucking.
I understand how to do it but I'll admit to having trouble with it... Mostly the teste bit, I wanted to know if I might get anything messed up down there and cause alot of pain for myself, plus how to deal with the extra skin. I tried to push it up a bit further and us my.. uh... you know, to hold it down a bit but some always is on the sides and I'm afraid that might end up being some kind of a give away if I let that keep happening.
Thanks very much for any help you girls can supply.
I totally started a tucking thread when I first joined this site too. I got some great advice. So far, I have not had any pain or issues with tucking. I wear one pair of panties that are 2 sizes smaller than what I need. This holds everything in place to include all the extra skin. I can wear as tight of clothes as I want to and don't have any issues.

Anything worth while for someone who can't really get their hands on decent undergarments?
Post as often as you like, hon, that's what makes the forums work! Here's a link to our Wiki on tucking. Thanks, Wiki Staff! https://www.susans.org/wiki/Tucking (https://www.susans.org/wiki/Tucking)
PS Welcome to Susan's Place! Hugs, Devlyn

Sorry, no. Hopefully the wiki will help you some more.

EEeeewwwWWWW....
I employed a similar method to this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6iLcfHU-rlY#).
only I used a torn up pair of my (now ex ;)) girlfriend's pantyhose and a tube sock.
I had pain for about the first week, but now no pain at all. At first I could barely cross my legs and it was slightly uncomfortable, but no longer a problem at all.
Also one really great thing I found starting out... rotating the round bits 180deg before tucking them up there (move from the bottom to forward then up) helped the connecting bits from getting constricted/bunched at all which made it way more comfortable. Seems like all the pain came from those, not the actual round bits themselves...
But now the orientation doesn't matter so much. I haven't experienced discomfort in months and I do this on the daily.
Good luck, you are gonna be fine!
Like most things the more you practice easier it gets.
Oh as Devlyn said, post baby post!
As the resident trans-rebel, I'm going to point out that tucking is not always needed..
In fact, I do it so rarely I forget the last time I did it..
I agree with Kelly, I can't see it unless I wear a dress or something but with pants I don't even notice it via the outside.
Thank you all for your advice, and I feel I should share today I tried tucking for the entire day with the tape method on the wiki (Thanks!)
And it wasn't that bad at all! I have to walk alot due to cullinary classes and even then it didn't bug me too bad, granted for a little while after I got it all set up the skin at the end felt a bit stretched but after a little bit that stopped hurting. Nobody managed to notice it (Probably due to baggy pants) but still I did feel a little up beat from it, if only a sub conscious effect.
Also to Kelly, if I do ever wear the kinds of big dresses I like I might not bother but I doubt I'm small or sneaky enough to hide it right now but still thank you very much for the advice!
I found tucking to be very painful/uncomfortable at first, mainly because they wouldn't stay up. But HRT changed that pretty quick, they shrunk enough within a week or so that everything would pretty much go into place from snug panties. So I don't really put much into tucking, I let the clothes do it for me.
I feel weird when I tuck because I still have masculine genitals so when I tuck my dingily bits it looks like I have a weird FUPA. One way I was shown to tuck the meat was to wrap it in toilet paper first so that the medical tape is only sticking to your butt check minimizing pain.
I am not a tucker, but if I wanted to t ry it I always wondered..... how does one pee in the middle of the day without unleashing the chtulu(or Kraken)
Seems like you would have to spend a few minutes tucking every time.
When I tape it. I do so upside down so that while sitting I can still go.

It takes me less than a second. So, there's no issue.
I always used ether a gaff or panty girdle. they both worked nice. Now I don't worry about it, the "T" factories are gone. (https://www.susans.org/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fsmileys.on-my-web.com%2Frepository%2FAnimals%2Fferret-3.gif&hash=f49e2f86761323f2abd9c33941920389dbb3b10f)
oh' the joys of tucking...
I have to say I really do hate it.
I too wear underwear bout 1 or 2 sizes too small and I also wear a pair of Spanx like compression shorts over that, helps too and then you don't have to tuck as tight if that makes sense.
I still get bites of pain here and there and its been 2 months full time, I tuck everyday.
Jay-Bird
I used to tuck, but stopped after year or two. Like Kelly mentions its not always necessary. I guess it also matters what kind of clothes you like to wear. For me I always wear a petticoat under my dresses or skirts, so there is no reason for me to tuck.
I got tired of tucking too and just kinda stopped about a month ago. I adjusted the clothing so I didn't have to do it, i.e. tighter undergarments and loose jeans.
Well... I decided tucking again today and didn't realize it was valentines day. Really didn't expect one of my friends to grab my crotch and my god it was awkward to explain myself to him. Yes him, I have weird friends.
Thank god he was dumb enough to fall for a tight boxer excuse. But seriously. I have never been so nervous about anything in my life.
I'm tucking with a gaff constantly, not mattering really what I wear. Only for most of the nights when I sleep I take the gaff off. For me the body and yes especially the crotch area feels more normal and I'm more happy to look at myself from the mirror when the extra parts are tucked tightly away. It also doesn't give any room for _it_ to think on its own, which is good.
I'm using a gaff quite similar as featured at Susan's wiki or in the YouTube link in this thread. However as I use it about 17 hours per day I've modified it so that I use pantyhose parts only, as that breathes more than a sock. It's basically a tight thong.
I'm a little embarrassed to admit it, but I learned my favorite taping method from a japanese Manga. If you google "Daiwari to josou to assistant" and go to the images results you'll find a manga page with a tucking diagram. I'm not exceptionally large, so I can use this method to hide everything inside. I use 3M Micropore medical tape and it holds up very well to movement and moisture. I've tried doing this with a condom catheter for extended wear, but I've found that with a little judicious taping I can just leave an opening at the end to go thru. (TMI?)
I find it to be very comfortable and I've occasionally worn this overnight. Exercising, Crossing my legs, even swimming... everything has stayed secure.
It can be a little uncomfortable if you're prone to getting 'excited', but I don't do that that often and the the few times that I have the 3M micropore tape has kept anything from budging.
I don't know if this would work for everyone but it works for me and I love the way it looks.

Well, I may not have had it like this for long but I tried that method and wow, it really does do its job! I may be a little large but still that method works really good, managed to keep it in after a night of walking at the fair, thank you so much for sharing!

Ahh, someone else that uses that kind of tape. I also like Medipore for swimming since its cloth and more waterproof, but it does cost a bit more than Micropore. Both are fairly comfortable compared to other medical tapes since they are more flexible and the adhesive seems to be less irritating. I can't stand to leave the house without being taped securely due to an incident involving unwanted groping a couple years ago.
"...the hardest part about everything, though, is the actual 'tuck'. Your testicles came down when you went through puberty. The goal is to try and put them back up there. Lay down on your back, and gently push them into your body and up. You'll need to spend a lot of time prodding and trying to find where they go, but once you do, they'll sort of 'pop in'. Don't force this. It shouldn't hurt too much. When you're laying back, they should stay in fairly well.
Once you get the hang of that, there are a few ways to keep everything in. My preffered method is to pull all of the loose skin from the sac towards my rear, and try and stretch it so there's no slack. That way there's no space for the testicles to pop into.
A firm control panty or girdle can do the job, if you just do that and push your penis back. For skimpier stuff, though, and when you can't wear something that bulky, tape works and can be worn with really skimpy bikini panties, etc."
and if you perfect that you could look like this.

Okay, not look like that obviously because Carmen is a Goddess but your junk will be put away and you can wear stuff like bikinis

Thank you for thanking me. I love sharing this method because, for me, it changed taping from a chore to something I love doing.
I'm really curious about trying that taping method, thanks for sharing :)
Which tape width works best?
I tucked for a little while but never mastered it. I wear jeans with a long tank top pulled down just below my crotch area. shows off my butt and hides the junk. It also makes for mystery when pulled over tight jeans. makes you look at my thighs and butt.

Which tape width works best?
I use the 2" tape, but I tend to cut smaller strips to initially hold things together and then use the full 2" tape over the top.
Once it's done I can trim the tape at the sides so that it doesn't show underneath whatever panties I'm wearing.
Also... I've found a little baby oil helps to ease the tape back off when I'm ready to remove things.
I haven't found a better diagram for this method but I'm sure there's one out there some where because I've seen japanese advertisements for pre-cut tapes for holding the tuck down. If anyone else has additional info on japanese tucking methods I would love to see it.
