Title: Compare pix (LB binder, gc comp. and nothing)
Post by: aleon515 on February 15, 2013, 02:24:21 AM
Ok, I promised someone and I deliver, though rather late. Anyway, here is a comparison of no binder (undershirt only), gc2 compression shirt, and LB binder (Air M long pullover). One thing kind of looks like puckers on the left side of the photo for LB binder. This is more how I am standing.
BTW, for any purposes of comparison, I used to wear a 36C bra. I am 5'1" and 120 lbs.

First is no binder, second compression shirt, third is LB. Hey note the cool t-shirt, just realized from the photo it says something.

Would you mind giving a side view of the Air M? I also wanted to know if it rolls up a lot.

Thank you in advance

It's hard because I have a very simple phone that doesn't do photos, but I'll try. It actually is good on the side. It DOES ride up. I stuff into my pants and that's that, no problem.

Ok, it wasn't hard, just how you hold the iPad. Here are side views. In order:
undershirt only, gc2 compression, and LB Air M pullover. I think the latter does a good job, though it is an extra large. Honestly so darn worried about getting too small. I am not extra large but oh well. Btw, this is an odd position, chesticles are down half way into the picture.

BTW, someone know how to put this up here directly. The link works ok but it is kind of indirect.
I can do this on photobucket, but don't know if they are ok with penis images, like I did the other day.

BTW, REALLY like the LB Air M pullover. They are so pricey but I would like two more so I could wear these all the time.

I'm jealous as to how flat you get!  I get down to about a C when I bind [at least in terms of how much I stick out].

But, the side shots are awesome for comparison sakes.  You might eventually want to get pictures in a white shirt to better contrast since the design can be misleading, at least in the pictures where you're showing chest facing the camera.

Still, these are pretty awesome. :)

Good advice might try this another time re: white shirt. One reason I used that shirt is that it is the tightest shirt I own. Might be misleading, but I think they actually are pretty accurate relative to how well they bind. With the gc2, you can kind of see some fullness or whatever and the LB gets me flat.

I like the LB a lot.  I just wish it came in my size. =/

Cool, thanks for the comparison! I just got the LB super strength short velcro one. It flattens WAY more than the Underworks pullover I'd been using, but is still quite comfortable (I'm a 34C). But I was curious about the LB pullover ones...

I don't care much for the velcro. It rubs against my skin and I am very tactilely sensitive. It's better if I wear an undershirt but defeats the purpose of being cooler. There is a pullover short, but it has elastic on the bottom, I hear. Also I think I like the whole idea of being like an undershirt which I wear anyway. So I like the long pullover. The price is $$$. Trying to decide if I can afford to buy 2 more.

Honestly Aaron, I'd be worried about size. I actually ordered a medium and really couldn't wear so I donated to the trans center. I got a large and even that one... They just really actually fit western people I think unless you are on the smaller side.

If someone would figure out how to make them in real sizes...

I prefer the pullover style too, I think. I just haven't found one that flattens enough plus I can get it on and off without some serious gymnastics.

The problem with the velcro for me is that I feel like it it causes a sort of twist to the whole thing. Since you attach it on just one side, it's asymmetrical and then I get sort of a slightly offset 'pec' look. I dunno, it's weird. Not noticable I'm sure (especially under all the layers I wear on a daily basis).

I don't find the Air M hard to get off and on, except if I put it on backwards by accident. The Mansculpture is a lot harder. I don't have any underworks (might have an old one I picked up at the trans center-- yes it's hard too).
