I am just wicked happy right now!
I went out with a group of people from school who I've never met before (we're just in a student group together and we went on a trip related to that group), and I felt like the men there really treated me like one of the guys. I didn't feel like that socially awkward third wheel. It was great, I hope we get to hang out in the future.
But, more excitingly for me, is I ordered a drink and I was really expecting to get carded, especially since one of the girls who was with us got carded, I was even holding my wallet so I could easily grab my ID, when suddenly my Guinness was in front of me. Sweet! I look over 21. :) That was by far the best tasting beer I've ever had in my life, and I left a good tip. I had a really awesome evening, but that certainly topped the cake for me.
So, all you pre-T guys, there's hope for you out there too!
Congrats!
Yay- there's hope for me too!
Nice! Although it is funny sometimes to watch the server do a double take when you hand them the card and you're way older than you look.
I used to get carded all the time. I was even asked not long ago what high school I go to in town (I'm 27). But the state I recently moved to seems a little lax in the ID card department in general. I usually just thrust the card at the server/bar tender anyways because I anticipate it now and you gotta be efficient to get that drink fast :D
Congratulations! ;D
Congrats, man! Lucky...maybe I'll pass for 21 when I'm a senior citizen :P
It feels good, I actually got asked what my age was when I was buying a child's ticket on the train, if it's delayed I don't feel bad about swindling a couple of quid from them, and then they asked my for my DOB. Luckily I managed to work it out quickly enough, unlike a friend of mine who messed up with trying to buy tobacco and told the shop keeper he was 14.
congratulation.
i'm to test my age when I go to Norway this summer, in Denmark alcohol isnt a big of a problem to get, even if your 13 XD but in norway there abit more stick so you have to be around 20 as I remember..
I always tend to look pretty young for my age but hopefully T have helped me get abit older.. so I can look my age.
I used to look 12. And then I started looking 40. It just was one big jump. :)

Lol I think I'll be jumping right to 40 soon, I've been finding gray hairs, hopefully it will come in in a distinguished pattern.
