I don't care what anyone says man-flu is real and it sucks. I've had tonsilitus before and never felt this miserable from it. I swear I'm dieing. Does any one else feel worse when they get sick since they have been on T
Now that I have no T in my system, I find I don't feel the effects of illness quite the same as I used to..
Myth...confirmed??

maybe it is the immune system adjusting to a different hormone balance for some reason? hopefully the body will adjust back to its normal recuperative state eventually.
sucks to be sick though, feel better.

No way! I'm DEFINATELY on the man flu is real side of the camp, getting sick now even when it's just a cold mostly feels like being on your death bed. Aren't women supposed to have higher pain thresholds? Maybe it's on a hormonal level? I spend a lot of time with my 4 year old nephew, and he brings all sorts of disgusting kids cooties home for me, so I get sick fairly often, I'm telling you, it's real! And it's horrible! I pray someone just knocks me out for two weeks if I get an actual flu instead of the common cold, cos flu might just send me batsh*t :(

This made me laugh so much xD
I have a crappy immune system and am always ill with one thing or another and have multiple injuries that cause ongoing pain. I can't really tell if I feel any worse now than before T. I've sort of learned to function whether I'm sick or not, otherwise I'd never get anything done.
My cis male partner HATES the notion of man-flu. Any bloke being dramatic about a cold really annoys him. I swear he's super human though, I've seen him get ill only once in our relationship, he had flu symptoms for like 6 hours and then he was fine again.
I'm currently sick, since I started a new job with a kids school and my first day was around preschoolers I'll be in and out of illness for a while until I get used to it. I haven't noticed a difference at all. I feel about as crappy now as I did when I was pre t. I think some people just have a higher tolerance to certain types of illness overall.
I haven't had the flu in like 10 years I forget what it was like even when I had T in my system. Sans T I have yet to get sick *crosses fingers* :P
I have naturally high testosterone and I'm always super-dramatic about being sick...I thought that was just the depression, though.

Proof-positive, in my opinion.
yea the first couple days are like "man i cannot even make myself try to think about thinking about anything" (Which is terrible as a student when sickness tends to hit when you have 4 tests to study for)
Luckily (knock on wood) my immune system has been kicking ass lately.
OMG, I couldn't stop laughing at this post! HAHAHAHAH
I always thought I handled being sick pretty well but the other girls at work always gave me crap! What a fantastic thought, start E to help get over that cold! hahahah The doctors would love it I'm sure.
Sure does. I've got it now. I've always been a pussy about it though even before T.

I have naturally low T and I'm a biological man. I rarely get sick, but when I do its horrible. I'd be glad to share my genes if it were possible. Anyone with bad teeth? I got Superman's in my mouth.
