Title: wig doesn't fit my head
Post by: Wild Flower on February 19, 2013, 03:58:29 PM
I bought this wig over ebay, and it was advertise for men so I figure it would fit my head. My head is an average size too. When I put it on, it's so tight that it doesn't even seem real. It looks good at certain angles, but I don't feel comfortable in it. I wait it out for a whole month too. And because it's so tight you can see the wafts underneath the hair (that doesn't bother me as much, since I plan on wearing this thing in a dark setting). I just don't want to look like a joke. I love the style of the wig, even though it's hard adjusting it because of the bangs.

I think it's an Asian woman's wig advertise as a men's wig.

What do you do? Is it just junk if it doesn't fit?

Did it come adjusted for its smallest size? There are little plastic hooks for adjusting the fit, they're usually near the back of your neck. They hook through little loops of fabric. Hope this helps, hugs, Devlyn

Yeah, I notice the hooks. I put it in hot water and then put it on my head. It seem to help stretch it out. It took like 20 minutes of adjusting before it look decent lol. I found that trick on some co-play website. I like the wig though, it gives a Kurt Cobain effect.

It's just a cheap wig, so I'm not going to stress out about it.
