So yestarday I finally got a response from HR if I could use the female restroom and loocker room. There answer was no not until I have srs than I can us them. Well they said to use the unisex bathroom. I was not happy but had to deal with it.
So today I was talking with one of my friends at work about hr response.and westarted to wonder why the said no since all the bathrrom are single use only and for a long time a few of the females were using the guys locker room but whatever I have to go with there choice
I understand how uncomfortable it can feel having to use the wrong toilets at work, my last employer agreed to let me use the disabled toilet as it isn't gender specific, this worked fine for a few weeks then one day I found the door locked, apparently the key had been lost (yeh, right ::))
I had to return to using the mens toilet & face blocked toilets, the stink of pee & less than happy looks from certain male employees, I told those men that if they had a problem I was happy for them to complain to managment as I was more unhappy about the situation than them.
I'm glad i live in Canada. When i came out at work . All the employees were made aware of my change. I only use the womens washrooms. No problems whatsoever.

At least your work actually has a unisex restroom. Mine doesnt and it seriously sucks.
