Title: Hello
Post by: Jeepgirl90 on February 22, 2013, 10:35:59 AM
OK were to start ....

My name is Christina Tali, and I am obviously new here. I am a 35 year old MTF that lives in Philadelphia, PA. As with many of us, I knew since I was about 12, however I only finally started my Journey back In June of last year. I have been going to Therapy since the beginning of July and have been on HRT a little over 3 months. I am also in process of my legal name change and Hope I will have that complete by the end of summer.

OK, now a little about me as a person, I currently work as a shop/parts manager/mechanic for a automotive  repair facility, however once I transition I will be getting into a new career. Other than that, I am married, although currently separated, and have 3 children. I am a musician, I have been playing Bass since my senior year of high school, and am a avid off-roader, although for the last year or so I have retired from off-roading until I progress in my journey a little further. (money is tight atm as transitioning is expensive and really can't afford the risk of breaking something on my Jeep, which is currently my only legal vehicle to drive back and forth to work with). I am also a gamer, I love space sims, post apocalyptic games, RPGs, Horror, and racing games. Lastly I love movies, I have a huge collection I have amassed over the years of almost every genre you can think of.

Well, that is everything about me, I hope to get to know everyone here during my stay here. :)

-Christina Tali

Hey there Christina.  Welcome.  I have been a lifelong Jeep fan, and owned three.  I still have my 1986 Wagoneer with the Laredo interior.  I love offroading!  An I am an easy drive from the deserts of southern California.

I have a dream of wheeling the Mojave one day actually. I love my Jeep I have a 1990 Cherokee Limited with a 4 1/2" lift I use for wheeling in the Pine Barrens in Jersey (or at least used to )

Oh wow another offroader, hurray!! I also have a jeep, a Sahara edition. I picked that for the better interior and the color matched fenders. Mine is the new for '12 dozer color, an orange color. There is nothing like driving a jeep with the top down and the doors off in the summer time. I also until recently had 3 Hummers that I offroaded. There are even YouTube videos of me offroading in my trucks. I joined the hummer club about 5 years ago and have met a good 5 more women who love offroading trucks as well, so we are not alone that's for sure.in fact they are all my Facebook friends now :). After I sold the last of the hummers last year I bought a diesel ram truck and a dodge challenger and driving the challenger is pretty intoxicating, so now it seems I am getting the need for speed.

If you are ever up in the north east, and want to explore some dirt roads, muddy trails or some of the amazing abandoned railroad cities in the middle of the woods then let me know. I've been all around this area and can get a good couple of hour drive in without ever touching pavement :)
