Title: Laser
Post by: Talofa on February 22, 2013, 05:30:35 PM
Excuse me if this has already been posted, I just want some advice, also get this off my chest :)

So next month draws 4 month mark on hrt, taking both T & E. I am not the hairiest individual. I suppose the only real area is my face. I shave and you can see the shadow(I despise this) I would like to start laser soon. Any advice on what I should expect? Also when did you start seeing results from this? I understand there's a 6-8 week period with each session.

Any advice would be appreciated

:)

I asked my doctor, he was fine with this.
small dosages for both
but the results are greater than I expected

My blood levels are good
and I keep an eye on it, constantly

Why are you taking both T & E?????

second this, why would you take Testosterone (assuming that's what T stands for) with MtF HRT...??? ???

As for laser you will notice the most change after about 5-6 sessions and in between it will be patchy and slow growing.

My bad TB ;)

Awesome.. I have had laser done once in the past, pre hormones though..

It isn't coarse, so I'm hoping for the great results.

I noticed results from LHR from the first session. I'm a rather hirsute individual with some sasquatch genes thrown in for good measure, but after my first session I noticed a difference in my facial hair, less coarse with light patchiness. After 4 sessions the only place on my face that grows a shadow is the goatee region, and hopefully that will be gone after the next two.

Things to be wary of- stay out of the sun for a few days after your session. Your skin is more sensitive to bright lights after a treatment and there are risks of permanent scarring if you're out in direct light. Also, don't be surprised if you break out a little bit after a session. It's not due to anything on your part, it's your hair follicles pushing out of your face. Be happy, they won't be coming back for a long time (if ever).

I hear that. I can't wait for them to be gone.
