Title: Uh oh, what to do?
Post by: Jeepgirl90 on February 26, 2013, 02:18:28 PM
Well apparently my changes on HRT are starting to be noticable. Especially in the chest area. I got a comment form one of my coworkers "Are you growing boobs?" This is an issue as I'm not out at work, everything else seems to fly under the radar. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can keep the girls incogneto for the moment (probably for the next few months as i'm planning on getting a new job rather than transitioning at my current job.) Fortuantly right now I can blame it on being overweight, but I don't know how long I can keep that excuse going.

Layering of clothing works until summer.

But the bottom line is, coworkers should not be asking harassing questions like that.

I have perky A cups and have the same issue. I wear "wife beater" style undershirts along with loose button down shirts at work and no one has said or noticed anything. There are some shirts that I just cannot wear anymore, such as thin cotton t-shirts. Also, dark shirts or shirts with a pattern help.

this is true however this is one of the perils of working in a mechanic's shop, I usuallt wear a wife beater, T-Shirt and Hooded Sweatshirt, which are on the baggy side and apparently they are noticable through 3 layers of clothes ... Another issue is once summer comes, and its 90+ degrees then I'm gonna have a real issue as I'm not going to be able to layer, I may have to speed up my plans to switch jobs.

Before I came out, I wore a really tight sports bra to hide my girls. I had B cups and it worked just fine.

Loose shirts, layering, and if all else fails binding.  AS Brooke777 said, a sports bra will work fine as long as they're not too big.
