According to the Human Rights Campaign, on May 22, 2007, Governor Jim Douglas (R-VT) signed into law a bill which will broaden the state's anti-discrimination laws and include the prohibition of discrimination on the basis of gender identity.

Third state this year :)

Vermont was a sure bet though.  But it is nice to see.
