Title: First Therapy Session Complete~

Hello Everyone~ ;D

Yesterday I went to my first therapy appointment ever and it was one of the best moments in my life! :D After getting the paperwork done and answering a few initial questions, I just talked and talked and talked and the session went amazingly well. I told her many things I'd never said in person before and got so much out and it felt like she understood all of it, I got all my frustrations out, made my objectives clear, and talked about many things in my life leading up to now and where I wanna be. I have another appointment scheduled next week and she said she'd make sure to get me into contact with an endocrinologist, so I think I'm well on my way towards beginning my transition :D

Side Note: As silly as it is, she had me sign the paperwork in my chosen name as well :) which was a first and definitely made me happy :D

Congratulations.  Having a good therapist who listens and provides objective advice makes all the difference in the world.

Thanks! Indeed it does >.<

Update! :D My therapist called and gave me the contact info for an endocrinologist! She told me to tell him my therapist referred me to him, that I'm MtF, and that I'm ready to get the hormone process started :o I never expected to make such progress from only 1 therapy session ;D
