Hey, so the dream of my life is actually to become a rapper, as a girl
So I am wondering, how would the rap community go with a trans rapper?
I guessed there will be a lot of joking and hate comments towards me
To me, those insults wont hurt, but it wouldnt get me a really good name
But anyways, I am more than likely going to change both my first and last name
and move to California to start rapping and performing there
So my other question is when you change both names, would people ever find
out who you once were? As that would totally ruin all your popularity, in rap
And I dont really feel like starting as a trans rapper, so no need to reply with that, sorry
I can't do stealth myself - I'd rather be open
If it's any consolation, I'm a trans rapper. I have a decent amount of fans in and out of the country. None of them mind and seem to embrace the fact that I'm being myself. I don't make the music about me being transgender. I make the same music I've always made, and in the end people don't care about my gender (as they shouldn't). They just care about the music.
