Last night I had a dream and to make a long story short, I had women's clothing on and felt like the woman I am inside.
HRT & SRS (especially SRS) scare the living daylights out of me & I have chosen not to undergo SRS because I don't hate "down there".
But in this dream I felt so free, so genuine that I revisited that topic.
I've been debating this for quite a while now, going back & forth.
It just seems so confusing at times.
Was it a "lucid dream?" That is, were you aware it was a dream, and could you see colours, hear sounds and smell?
Jung did a lot of work on dream interpretation, as he considered them to be the way the sub-conscious communicated with the conscious mind. He believed that there were only a few seperate archetypes represented in our dreams, including guide figures and indications of our emotional state by things such as smooth or rough water.
They can mean totally different things to different people, so you will have to do your own interpretation, but a bit of thought should reveal something. Have fun.
Karen.
I was aware I was dreaming, however, my understanding of a lucid dream is dreaming that one is dreaming (sounds too confusing haha). The dream was beautiful. I remember the afternoon sunlight through the trees! :D
