Hi,
My doctor, a urologist now, has put me on Rapaflo because I can't urinate normally. It takes an extreme amount of effort to inititate a urine flow. He thought that this might help because it relaxes the internal spinchter. Anyway, has anybody here heard of this medicine. Its called Rapaflo and is supposed to be similar to Flowmax. He said I shouldn't have any problems with it, but I wanted to make sure.
Not contributing to the thread because I haven't heard of either medications, but to let the four year old in me giggle at their names.
I have nothing, either, but the names are amusing!
"Have you tried New and Improved Damburst? Now with Tsunami!"
I've only heard of these meds being prescribed to older males with urinary issues due to age. But if they work, and help, do it.
I just found put that rapaflo is an alpha blocker, which means it blocks androgens. Im on HRT. Is this safe for me to take?

I would ask my physician or pharmacist.
